A video course by David Werdiger
You've tried the productivity tools. The problem isn't how you manage your time. It's that you've never built deliberate rest into the architecture of your life. This course shows you how that changes everything else.
The problem
Not occasionally. Chronically. There's real achievement, pride, and yet underneath it a low hum of depletion that never quite settles. If that sounds familiar, it's not a personal failing. The model is wrong at the foundation.
Over twenty years of working with founders, family business leaders, and executives, I've watched the same pattern repeat. Intelligent people, serious about their work, steadily handing over their best hours to other people's demands and a device that never stops demanding attention. The attention economy was designed to do exactly that. What this course offers is a way back.

What you'll come away with
The ability to identify the specific moments in your week where time and energy are being lost.
A practical method for designing at least one structured pause into your regular routine.
A clear picture of what a sustainable relationship with technology actually looks like for you.
The problem
Module 1
Why doing more is making you less, and what three thousand years of practice knows that Silicon Valley doesn't. You’ll learn why the most successful people are exhausted, the hidden cost of the full calendar, and an introduction to the Sabbath principle.
Module 2
Finding your source and cutting the rest, including the stop-doing list and why FOMO is a business model. You’ll learn the difference between ambition and energy, your Power Zones, and how technology quietly removes your agency.
Module 3
Building rest into the architecture of your life and understanding the difference between escape and real restoration. You’ll learn how to take micro-pauses, what actually happens when you observe a Sabbath, and how the Wealth of Time can make a sustainable difference in your life.

What people say
"My Sabbath went great, and it’s getting easier and easier. I’m finding so much clarity and peace."

Managing Director, Sydney
"I’m spending less time on emails and checking my phone, and more time on writing. I’m having greater focus and flow."

Psychologist and Family Therapist, NSW
"Felt a sense of freedom. Hope to model better behaviours to my children."

Corporate Advisor and Board Chair, Melbourne
"I started implementing strategies to make it more difficult for me to habitually reach for the phone. What surprised me most was the sense of freedom during my first switch-off block, and the desire to model better behaviour for my two teenage children, who are digital natives. I’m proud of what this program has allowed me to show them."

Corporate Advisor, Melbourne
"I'm exceptionally poor at taking my Sabbath each week, and this is something my supervisor and spiritual director have been raising with me for years. This programme was the first time I actually did it. I took four hours, switched off, and did something I love. What I've come to understand is that when I don't switch off, I'm actually compromising my capacity to serve the people who need me.

David Werdiger is a Melbourne-based family enterprise advisor, author, and family office principal. He has spent twenty years working with founders and multigenerational business families on the intersection of wealth, values, and the long-term view.
He has observed the Sabbath his entire life, one day a week without devices, work, or commerce, and credits it as the most clarifying practice available to anyone operating in the attention economy. This course draws on key principles of the practice, on his experience advising business families, and on a genuine curiosity about why thoughtful people keep making the same mistakes with their time.
The P.O.P. Method is not productivity advice. It's a framework for reclaiming agency over the shape of your own days.

Common questions
Founders, business owners, executives, and family principals who are genuinely time-poor and are starting to notice the cost. You don't need to be burnt out to benefit. You just need to be curious about whether there's a better way to relate to your time.
No. David draws on Jewish tradition, including the Sabbath, as one of several frameworks for thinking about rest and attention. The course is useful to anyone regardless of faith or background. The Sabbath is offered as a model worth understanding, not a practice to adopt.
The eleven videos run approximately two to three hours in total. Most people work through one module per week, using the workbook exercises in between. You can move at whatever pace suits you. There are no deadlines and no expiry on your access.
A 30-minute video call with David, scheduled after you've worked through the course. You bring the questions; David brings twenty years of experience applying these ideas with real people in real businesses. Places are strictly limited per cohort.
Yes. All participants receive a four-week email sequence after completing the course, with further material and details of David's coaching programme for those who want to go deeper.
